For 11 years the Bruneck Christmas Market has attracted thousands of visitors with its festive bright lights, the scent of pines, tempting treats and atmospheric concerts.

Every day people flock to the traditional market huts, whose roofs are decorated with spruces, angels, Christmas baubles and lights, and savour a Christmas delicacy or two. The streets, which are filled with the aromas of cinnamon, vanilla and mulled wine, invite you to enjoy a stroll and take in the scene.

This isn’t just a place to buy and sell though; handicrafts and regional traditions take centre stage at the Christmas market. For this reason, there are also demonstrations of how traditional South Tyrolean products are made.

There is a huge variety of traditional Christmas goods and gift ideas, making a trip to the market a wonderful seasonal shopping experience.
